Adult Classes

Marriage Enrichment Seminars
are held during the year to allow couples to spend intentional time growing their relationships with one another.

Disciple 101
is offered for persons who want to discover and learn more about the history, beliefs and direction of the Disciples of Christ as a church.

A Pastor’s Class
for all considering Baptism or seeking a better understanding of its meaning and symbolism is offered.

Evening Studies/Discussion Groups
on a variety of subjects are held throughout the year. Currently a group is studying Disciples’ identity.

Faith Matters
This group focuses on discussion of issues current to modern living and incorporates individual discernment of the Bible and Christian faith to openly explore the many facets of “why, and what we believe.” All are welcome, while age range is typically 30 years and up. Class meets at 10 a.m. on Sundays on the 3rd floor.

FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians United Spiritually)
This class consists of the 20 to 30-year old college and career age who meet for Sunday morning study at 10 a.m. and work together on church and community projects for fellowship. The group varies its study of the Bible and life applications. Class meets on the 3rd floor.

Open Door Class
This adult class has been meeting longer than any other, and as its name suggests, welcomes all to join in on its ever-changing course of study. Age range is typically 40 years and up. Class meets Sundays at 10 a.m. in room CE 203 on the 2nd floor.

An Intercessory Prayer Group
Meets on Thursdays at noon in the church parlor for all wanting to share joys and concerns.
All are welcome to participate.

A Tuesday morning Bible Study
Offered in the church parlor from 9:30-11:30 with lunch following.
