Mother’s Morning Out Program
Katherine Thacker, Director
(479-305-3547 – cell)
Mother’s Morning Out was started in 1990 as part of a community outreach effort. While MMO rented space from First Christian for several years, in 2006 the church and MMO program merged with the continued goal being to provide loving, safe and creative childcare at a reasonable cost.
In an atmosphere that is neither pressured nor overly academic, a variety of educational, social and artistic experiences are provided. Weekly chapel is held with Pastor Ryan Pfeiffer. Activities encourage the developement of age appropriate pre-reading and pre-math skills, fine and gross motor developement, creativity, imaginative thought, and important communication skills. We foster kindergarten readiness in terms of following directions, making choices, participating in group activities and learning responsibilities.
